The fruit and vegetable section is awesome. They have a nice selection of organic and non organic. I love that they have large bags of purple potatoes and not just the tiny ones.
The baked desserts and breads are all wonderfully tasty. Along with all their hot and cold prepared foods. You can get sushi, pizza, Chinese and more. What s great variety! There are also cold subs and a burger joint that serves beer too!
Parking is good, since it shares a huge lot with a few other business in the strip.
The store has one of the largest selections of items that I've seen in a grocer, and they're choices for prepared foods is astounding.
About 10% of this large store is just for wine and beer, and the selection+prices are very competitive with surrounding stores.
This store is still getting its bearings. I find that it's fun to visit because it's so large. It's like a supermarket museum. It was fun to find, say, black vinegar which is used in Chinese cooking. Stop & Shop doesn't stock that. But Wegmans wastes a fair bit of my time. Because it's so huge it's hard to find things. Even if you know where things are, some walking's involved. As others have noted, it's not consistently stocked. Produce is sometimes missing. On a recent visit, there were no quarts of 2% milk. I'm hoping that this is something that they overcome.
Meat and seafood section of the store is staffed with pretty knowledgable employees.
This is a very clean grocery store, with pricing on par with Costco without the membership fee and lower than Market Basket for comparable products. They are well-staffed, and open up additional registers fast when it's busy. The store brand is emphasized here, but that is actually a good thing because Wegmans brand products are better than name brands and other grocer's store brands.
If you are a cheese lover, you will be in cheese heaven with their great selection!
One of the big pluses for me personally, their checkout lines are well staffed so we the customers can get thru quickly.
Love how large and space out the store is. The isles do not feel crowded like some grocery stores.
Small cafe and food bar with seating inside and out makes grabbing a meal or snack in the store simple and convenient.
This location also has a really big selection of wine, beer and other alcoholic beverages like sake. Prices range from cheap to a bit pricey.
The employees are very friendly and very helpful. Many of them truly seem to enjoy working at Wegmans.
The latte that I got, though, was very pleasant -- better than Starbucks where espresso drinks too often suffer from sharp off flavors.
Like all supermarkets, the dairy section is in the back corner of the store.
Overall, I love having this store so close by!
Produce is very fresh and there's a lot of variety to pick from.
There are three ways to checkout: regular, 7items or fewer, or no-cash self checkout for 20 items or fewer. Pretty efficient.
Extremely friendly and helpful employees make it their duty to assist you with your shopping.
I wish Wegmans went plastic bag free, but this might take a while.
